Mir Italia is happy to announce a new branded product in our portfolio: Mirabel® Lysozyme (liquid and granulated).

Lysozyme  is a natural antimicrobial enzyme, derived from the chicken egg white.

Used in food production, it inhibits the growth of many spoilage organisms, increases shelf life and ensures food safety.

In the dairy industry, it is used to prevent butyric late blowing, caused by Clostridium tyrobutyricum,  which occurs during the ripening of some semi-hard and hard cheeses.

Mirabel® Lysozyme is a high-end  product, made in full compliance to the EU regulation 231/2012: purity min 95%; solids in liquid min. 22%.
